Helblindi is a minor character in Norse mythology, and very little is known about him. He is mentioned in a few sources as the brother of Loki, the trickster god, and the son of the giants Fárbauti and Laufey. Helblindi's name means "All-Blind" or "Total-Blind", but there is no explanation given for its significance.
Despite his sparse appearances in the mythology, Helblindi has been featured in various modern retellings and adaptations of Norse mythology. In some retellings, he is portrayed as a villain in league with his brother Loki, while in others, he is a more sympathetic figure who is caught up in the schemes of his more well-known sibling.
